Privacy: how Aata uses your data
Aata is the front door to your club's app. It is made by R.A.P Studio, Copenhagen. This page says what Aata itself keeps, which is very little. Each club's app has its own privacy page for what the club keeps.
What Aata asks for
Your mobile number, once, to find the clubs you belong to. Aata asks each club "is this number on your member list?" and gets back yes or no. Nothing else about you passes through Aata.
What Aata keeps
- On your phone only: which club you chose, so you aren't asked again. Open aata.app/?forget=1 to clear it.
- On Aata's servers: nothing about you. Your number is not stored; it is used for the lookup and discarded.
- A short-lived count of lookups per internet connection (15 minutes), to stop anyone using Aata as a phone book.
Who runs it
Aata runs on Cloudflare, in the EU. The clubs' apps run on their own Cloudflare sites. Questions: write to [email protected].
